San Ramon, Calif., July 6, 2020—Today, Synergy Global Housing (Synergy) welcomes Sofia Oragano as its newest Business Development Manager, EMEA. Oragano will be based in the Synergy EMEA London office reporting to VP of Sales EMEA, Claire Barrie. In her new role, Oragano will be responsible for driving revenue growth, growing client partnerships, and brand stewardship contributing to the evolution of the Synergy EMEA footprint.

With a background that notes more than a few industry elite providers and servicers, Oragano brings over a decade of a diverse serviced accommodation experience—sole agency, independent operator, and global solutions—to Synergy. Most recently, she worked as a Global Account Director for Oakwood Worldwide, where she was responsible for new business activity, critical account business reviews, RFP responses, and final presentations, and maintaining eight-figure sales accounts. Her time with Oakwood was punctuated by numerous accolades and awards, including but not limited to the 2018 Supplier of the Year award along with the prestigious 2018 and 2014 The Business Travel People Award honors, a recognition given to the Business Development Team of the Year within the sector.
Prior to Oakwood, Oragano worked for SACO and SilverDoor in a variety of sales and account support roles.
