Synergy is Proud to Accept the 2020 Think Relocate Award for Best Serviced Apartment Provider — Regional/Global.

Hello! Awash with a rosy glow and wearing big smiles, Synergy Global Housing (Synergy) is still celebrating our win at the prestigious 2020 Think Relocate Awards, hosted by Relocate Magazine this past week via a virtual awards ceremony.

Honoured to collect the Best Serviced Apartment Provider—Regional/Global award, the team cheered and clapped as James Foice, CEO of the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP), “virtually” handed the award over to our President, International Stephen Hanton.

Already enamored by the distinction of winning, we were thrilled to hear the judges describe why Synergy took home the award.

The work done by this firm to engage clients from the millennial generation, deliver service in remote locations and generate resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness should be awarded,” James Foice, CEO ASAP. “The house share matching and smart properties stood out in particular. Also, investment in staff has led to high client satisfaction.

This win will prove memorable. Not the least because it was a virtual ceremony during a global pandemic (hats off to Relocate for organising such an uplifting and slick event by the virtual video conference!), but because it’s the first time Synergy entered the Relocate Awards and our first significant EMEA win in a while—a region currently on the rise and destined to be a massive success for Synergy moving forward.

“Synergy aims to become an extension of our clients’ teams, thus enabling a seamless accommodation and relocation experience for the client and, ultimately, the assignee.”

Furthermore, it goes to show Synergy is gaining traction as a global operator, complementing our existing strong position in the United States with a strong provider-presence in EMEA.

“It’s an honour and privilege to receive this award, especially when judged among many notable peers,” Debbie Lundon, Managing Director, EMEA.

Once Stephen Hanton recovered from accepting the award he went on to comment, “we are delighted to win the award as it indicates that we are on the right track in creating a growing awareness of Synergy within EMEA and as a global operator. We said that we’d like to create some noise and perhaps we’ve just become a bit noisier.

He’s right about becoming noisier! 2019 was an extraordinary year as we continued to evolve and grow as a serviced accommodation provider. We worked with many of the world’s largest corporations and relocation management companies and built on the solid foundation laid by our founders twenty years ago. A foundation that has enabled us to expand and become a truly global provider.

Claire Barrie, who joined us last week as our Vice President of Sales, EMEA is delighted to become the newest member of our award-winning team, and went on record saying, “how lucky am I to be joining this truly inspirational and dedicated team who have worked so hard to deliver the very best end-to-end accommodation experiences and solutions for the relocation industry.”

“…we have a wide range of measures in place to support our people in their pursuit to deliver exceptional global service such as: personalised onboarding journeys, employee reviews focused on growth, diversity and awareness training, award and recognition programs, and the development of Synergy’s own “Delivering Exceptional Service” course.”

Despite all the challenges we’ve faced due to COVID-19, Synergy is navigating the crisis well and positioning ourselves to emerge stronger than before. Indeed 2020, is shaping up to be a remarkable year as we adapt and change to the “new normal.”

So, watch out for another strong showing at the Think Relocate Awards 2021! We enjoyed winning and are looking forward to taking another crack at it.
